Easily enter any accented characters commonly used for European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Scandinavian and many others. Also other special characters - this small Windows software tool enables simple input of letters and symbols that may not appear on your normal keyboard. It will directly type into most other applications and also copies characters into the Windows clipboard. Supports European and other languages with letters and accents from the Unicode Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Geoargian and Armenian character sets. Reduces to a system tray icon when not in use, with option for loading at system startup time. Perfect for users who need to work with multiple languages at the same time, such as correctly entering names of people or places.
Completely self-contained program, yet small and lightweight, needing minimal system resources. No special dependencies or run-time requirements and is fully portable - for example can be run from a USB memory stick. A Windows installation file is provided for convenience, though not entirely neccessary. Does not affect any Windows systems settings other than installer info, if used.
Extra Keys is free to use, has no time limit, no nags and no ads. 32-bit and 64-bit editions are available as well as an enhanced Pro edition which is also free.
